Elissa Swanger (b.1973, Santa Cruz, California) lives and paints in Morristown, New Jersey. She earned her BA from Swarthmore College, PA and MFA from Brooklyn College, City University of New York, where she studied with Vito Acconci and Patricia Cronin. Her work has shown in galleries throughout the United States and London, including The Governors Island Art Fair, The Artists Space, A.I.R and The Bowery Gallery in NYC and The Center for Contemporary Art and Victory Hall in New Jersey.
